Dr. Ramanath is a researcher in the fields of semantic and statistical summarization of graph structured data, graph-IR, and graph query processing. She has worked extensively on projects related to exploration of large, semi-structured data repositories, NAGA: A semantic search engine with a very large knowledge base, novel querying facilities and ranking, and cardinality estimation for XML Queries.
Balaji Srinivas

Balaji Srinivas is a Managing Partner for the Aureos South Asia region, based in Bangalore, India. He began his career with Tata Steel as a financial accountant, then with Corporate divisions of Sterling Holiday Resorts and BPL Mobile Communications. Balaji then became an associate director at Intel Corporation where he established Intel India's Venture Capital operations in 1998 and led 14 investments in technology SMEs. He was also Vice-president for The Carlyle Group's investments in India.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (India) and has a B.Sc. in Commerce from the University of Madras, India.
K Kumar

K. Kumar is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Chairperson in the N.S. Raghavan Center for Entrepreneurial Learning at IIMB. He started his career with a two-year stint as a Marketing Officer with Crompton Greaves Ltd, then he spent the next three years during his career as an entrepreneur, and successfully co-promoted two ventures in the services and consumer products domains. He also served as a Product Manager at Computer Point (I) Ltd. Kumar has over 18 years of experience in the industry in various capacities. He was the first CEO of Trigent Software Ltd, a mid-sized; Bangalore based software services company, between 1995 and 2001 and later served as its President between 2005 and 2006. For over four years he worked as Management Consultant at TCS.
Kumar has a B.E degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Madurai University) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIMB. He is a Fellow of IIMB (equivalent of a Ph.D), with specialization in corporate strategy.
